Ceramic Angel by Jo Lucksted

Handsculpted wall piece. Stoneware clay and incised with mark making tool for decoration. This angel is hand painted and finished with gold paint. To fit to your wall there is a wire hanging arrangement on the back so you can simply hang with a nail.

A bit about the artist:  Jo Lucksted creates quirky and illustrative ceramics that fuse together her eclectic range of influences. A self confessed magpie for beautiful things, Jo is a great admirer of the skill that goes into handmade and historical objects, which is reflected in the mastery of technique and attention to detail in her own work. Having worked in a variety of media, including textiles, printing, silversmithing and photography. Jo hand builds her pieces, enjoying the process of sculpting and creating surface texture. She uses underglaze colours to hand paint each piece.

Since 2010 Jo has worked full time as an artist from her studio in Shepton Mallet, and has exhibited widely across the UK
